  • Active Isolated Stretching

    Stretching technique designed to disarm the body's natural tightening reflex. This stretching technique is very muscle specific allowing the therapist to isolate out the specific muscles needing work. For example, rather than performing a general quadricep stretch, the AIS therapist can isolate out the vastus lateralis, or vastus medialis and stretch each muscle of the quadricep group specifically and individually for better, more balanced results. This treatment is performed by Jennifer.
